eah & Brandan hosted the perfect country wedding at The Lyman Estate; it was casual, fun and still so elegant! Their top priority was simply to throw an amazing party for their closest friends and family, and provide everyone with a great experience. They couldn't have done a better job pulling this off. There were so many great little touches to this wedding that I don't even know where to begin! The Lyman Estate lends itself to this style of wedding so well, with a layout that mixes a backyard wedding feel with a high end cocktail party. Leah and Brandan decided to have their first look inside the Lyman's greenhouse, which was a first for me, and such a unique backdrop to these images. The ceremony on the side lawn was beautiful and peaceful with the house close enough so it was easy for guests to move from one part of the day to another. The porch and back lawn gave cocktail hour a relaxed vibe with the Chasing Blue Band providing porch-side bluegrass. Dinner was served inside the tent and then everyone came inside the Estate for late night dancing.
I was blown away by the attention to detail and quality that Jen & Lindsey, co-owners of Chive, Sustainable Events and Catering, put in to this wedding. Aside from providing cool details like mini-chalkboard place cards and rustic wooden serving platters, they pulled out all the stops with the food and drink. Everything they serve is locally sourced and creatively plated, and Chive worked with the bride and groom to offer multiple signature drinks - check out the awesome root beer float bar and upscale bourbon bar they set up! Needless to say I've been recommending them like crazy since seeing their craft. This was an amazing wedding with such a fun couple, I wish they were getting married every year!
