S
ometimes, all of right pieces fall together and the stars align. Sort of like when Chive Events designs and caters your wedding. Chive's creative team was very thoughtful about what was important to Meredith and Chris and created an atmosphere that resonated emotion with elegance while connecting art, earth, and style. Balancing a neutral palate of pinks, peaches, greys, silvers, and greens, Chive hit the ground running with a variety of quiet but bold details. Single-stem flowers tucked into antique apothecary bottles created warm accents during both cocktail hour and the reception. They shared their vows beneath a breathtaking handmade dreamcatcher with soft white ribbons waltzing below. The rich details played whimsically with The deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum; Chive's flower arrangements complimented the gorgeous ivy motif that has nearly taken over the brick exterior. As the sun was setting, guests enjoyed cocktail hour to the bluegrass tunes of the Golden Band Wedding Band and witnessed the first dance. Considering Chive's zero waste commitment, Meredith and Chris were satisfied celebrating honestly and responsibly. A huge shoutout goes to Liz Quill of Elegant Aura: coordinator, bridesmaid, friend; Liz wore many hats and rocked them all! Also, a big thank you to my talented associate photographer and friend Todd Danforth. Check out Todd's gorgeous website here! A full description about their wedding would require words that are beyond my limits, so please enjoy this selection of moments from their big day below.
