lizabeth & Chris were one of my favorite couples and their summer wedding in Boston was so...much...fun! The day kicked off with candid getting ready photos at the Langham Hotel where Samantha Cummings and Olivia's Hair Boutique were doing hair and makeup for Elizabeth and her friends. Elizabeth changed into her Allure gown, which she purchased at Madeleine's Daughter which is a hidden gem of a bridal shop located in Portsmouth New Hampshire...(and it's also where my wife found her wedding gown)!<3 After getting ready, Elizabeth & Chris walked separately across the street and we photographed their first look and a few wedding portraits in Post Office Square before the trolley picked us up and we headed to the ceremony at St Mary of the Assumption in Brookline, officiated by my favorite priest, Fr. John Unni. I wasn't raised Catholic and I'm not a religious person, but Fr. John is incredible. He makes everyone feel welcome and included regardless of their faith and he has the best Boston accent I've ever heard. Fun fact about Fr. John...he used to own a landscaping business before he decided to become a Catholic priest. He also always remembers my name which is crazy! After the ceremony we hopped back on the trolley and headed to Fan Pier in the Seaport along the Boston Harborwalk to take portraits with their wedding party and families. When we arrived at The State Room for the reception, there was an EPIC RAINBOW across the whole sky and I literally ran to grab Elizabeth and Chris for a quick photo before it disappeared. The reception space was beautifully decorated with flowers (by my work husband) Gregory from Flou(-e)r and their band Flipside rocked the house and had their guests up and dancing all night! A huge thank you to Elizabeth and Chris for inviting me to capture their special day, and to my associate photographer Bridget Davies for bringing her a game as always!
