he Omni Parker House is a gorgeous historic hotel in Boston and was the perfect backdrop for Ximena and Greg 's fall wedding. We started the day with casual getting ready photos while Ximena had her makeup done by Mary Elle Artistry. After a fun champagne toast, her Mom helped Ximena into her gown before she walked across the street to Old City Hall Plaza for her first look with Greg! After taking a few portraits with the beautiful architecture of Old City Hall in the background, we walked to the Boston Public Garden and took advantage of the city views and fall foliage before heading back to Old City Hall for wedding party and family photos. Their friends were ROWDY, and we had a great time blocking traffic on School Street in front of the hotel. Their groomsmen even climbed the wrought iron gate in front, and I was locked and loaded, read to capture that hilarious moment. After portraits, we walked to Old South Meeting House for their wedding ceremony, which was officiated by a close friend of the couple and followed by an epic sparkler sendoff, which I honestly couldn't believe they got away with in the middle of Boston. SO awesome!!! Back at the hotel, the ballroom was decorated with flowers by Jacques and they had the best topper I've ever seen of a groom grabbing a bride's booty! ;). After the formalities, Wilson Stevens Band rocked the house and the dancefloor was absolute insanity. One other fun detail, in lieu of favors Ximena & Greg created a Spotify playlist with all of their favorite songs, and I thought this was such a nice, personal touch! A massive thank you to Ximena and Greg for inviting me to capture their special day, and to my friend and talented associate photographer Liz Friar for always being on point!
