his wedding was great, Jenna and Alex had me photograph their engagement photos, so on their wedding day we were practically best friends. Started out the day at the Charles Hotel where everyone got ready and the ladies had Kacie Corbelle from KC Bridal Beauty helping with hair and makeup. It was a really sweet morning with the giggles of kids becoming a soundtrack behind everyone talking and enjoying the morning. After Jenna and Alex got dressed there was no first look before the ceremony, so I took separated portraits of the men and of the women before we all moved over to Saint Leonard's Church for the ceremony. Because it was December after the ceremony we had about 30 minutes of light so we walked through the North End and over to the Paul Revere Mall to get some really cool portraits with the brick and on the streets. I also think I failed to mention that this day was absolutely freezing, and so we quickly went into the bridal party portraits and moved back on the trolly for warmth. We stopped by Commonwealth Avenue Mall to get some photos with the holiday lights and Alex really want to get a photo at Fenway Park so we made a quick stop. Then headed over to the Harvard Art Museum for the reception and cocktail hour. Once we were inside Jenna, Alex, and I all explored throughout the galleries looking at the art. The reception hall was decorated by Whim Events, who only take a few weddings every year so it was a pleasure to be a part of the experience. They did both the background planning and the florals which paired with the furniture from Peak, and lighting from Social Lighting the venue became magical. The cocktail hour was also great because I loved capturing the people as they were enjoying the art, gallery spaces, and company. The reception itself was kicked off by Night Shift who provided the music and had everyone dancing from the first dance all the way through the night only to be stopping to eat the food from Catered Affair. It was a wild dance floor to go with the crazy fun day. A massive thank you for including me in your special day to Jenna and Alex and to Masco Okano for being my associate photographer.
