Weddings

M
eg & Peter hired me for an engagement session last year and we really hit it off, so I was especially pumped to photograph their wedding! The day started with Meg & her bridesmaids getting ready in matching PJ's at The Newbury Hotel with hair and makeup done by I Do. Her bridesmaids dresses were designed by Amsale and Meg's wedding gown was designed by Pronvias. Peter & the groomsmen got ready at The Newbury, and after putting on their Vera Wang suits they made a quick stop at the Street Bar, then hopped on the trolley to St. Cecilia Parish for the ceremony. Meg & her Dad drove to the church in a gorgeous vintage Rolls Royce and I was able to capture a sweet moment of them together in the car before entering the church. After the ceremony there wasn't any type of specific exit planned, but I put myself at the bottom of the staircase just in case and was able to catch a sweet candid kiss as Meg and Peter walked down the stairs and into their fancy getaway car. After the ceremony we headed to the Boston Public Garden to take portraits of the bride & groom with their wedding party & family before heading back to the hotel for the reception. Meg & Peter's wedding took place in the the Assembly ballroom and I loved the high top centerpieces which were designed by Ford Flower Company and complimented the high ceilings of the space perfectly. After their cocktail hour, M&P were introduced and did a beautiful choreographed first dance which they clearly worked VERY had on and absolutely crushed. After the toasts, their guests hit the dance floor to music by the band KB3 and I was able to capture some hilarious candids of their friends & family. A huge thank you to Meg and Peter for inviting me to capture their special day, and to my friend & talented associate photographer Iaritza Menjivar for all of her help and hard work on this one.
