The Four Seasons Hotel Wedding: Jessica & Zach

I
n early May, I photographed the wedding of Jessica and Zachary at the Four Seasons Hotel in Boston. I have shot quite a few weddings at the Four Seasons recently and it is quickly becoming one of my favorite venues...the decor is elegant with clean lines, the grand staircase is awesome to photograph from every angle, and it is literally across the street from the Boston Public Garden. Both Jessica and Zach got ready in the hotel and then we headed to the grand staircase to capture their first look. We then walked over to the Boston Public Garden for some bridal party portraits. Funny story: the city of Boston requires a permit to shoot in the Public Garden, and because the annual Walk for Hunger was the day after the wedding, the city wasn't issuing any permits that weekend. However, after a few phone calls to the lovely ladies at the permitting office and a teensy "discussion", Jessica was able to secure us a permit!! As she said "you don't mess with a girl like that a week before her wedding!" Love it:). The ceremony was lovely - with cherry blossom branches on columns throughout the room and the bride's bouquet was full of gorgeous pink peonies and white roses from Crimson Petal Florist. The Ballroom looked stunning and the guests enjoyed chocolate favors and the music of the Magnus Band during the reception. And check out the delicious late night snack of ice cream cookie sandwiches :-). Many thanks to Jared Kuzia for his associate photography skills that day. Congratulations Jessica and Zachary on an amazing wedding and wishing you all the best - thank you for inviting me to share in your big day!
